We have quite possibly had the best Christmas ever.
We arrived in the dark on a cold and windy night so the lit fire was a thoughtful and welcome sight.
Having read about the Courtyard in Sawday book it has been on our wish list for a while and has exceeded our expectations. Many thanks for the personal touches which made it that extra bit special.

What a wonderful little cottage, a perfect place to relax and explore north Norfolk.We arrived on Friday night to a lovely welcome and a basket full of treats-yummy ginger cake, fresh eggs, homemade jam, milk, bread and a bottle of wine- such a nice touch. We loved the trendy furnishings and particularly the wood burner...so cosy on winter nights. The cottage is well suited for adults and children alike - so much thought has gone into providing everything needed for a perfect stay, books, games, DVDs, washing machine, cooking equipment etc. We will certainly be staying in the Stockman’s Cottage again.

We’ve had a lovely stay in the cottage. Lovely interior, personal touches, warm and beautiful setting. Kids happy, wonderful.

ORANGE CREAM AND YELLOW!
Miriam has been chopping and squeezing Seville oranges to stock our shelves with her delicious marmalade ready for the season ahead. An old family recipe that has been passed down the generations.
Catherine has had the Farrow and Ball paint pots out and has decorated all the B&B rooms. Bone, Light Grey, Old White and Shaded White are her current favourites.
For those wanting a cooked breakfast Simon’s new compact egg boilers have been a great hit. Loopy lays lovely chocolate brown eggs with bright yellow yolks perfect for dipping soldiers!
